Junior Product Manager

A part-time role supporting the day-to-day running of our SaaS platform, used widely across UK government organisations — a great entry point into product.

You will work alongside a Senior Product Manager, taking on the operational and customer-facing tasks that keep clients happy and the platform running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their product career — or moving into product from a related field — to gain hands-on experience in a regulated, government-facing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to government clients and triage their queries
  • Assist with platform implementations for new clients
  • Run product demonstrations and training sessions (initially with senior support, then independently)
  • Maintain user-facing documentation, guides and training materials
  • Gather user feedback and pass insights to the Senior Product Manager
  • Support coordination between clients and internal delivery teams
  • Help track delivery progress and flag risks or blockers

Essential experience & skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident, professional manner when dealing with clients
  • Well organised, with an ability to manage your own time and tasks
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentation
  • Willingness to learn quickly and take ownership of your work
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Willingness and ability to obtain clearance (BPSS, SC or higher)

Desirable experience

  • Some experience in product, project, delivery or customer success (including internships, placements or graduate schemes)
  • Exposure to SaaS, ICT or public-sector environments
  • Awareness of Agile or Scrum delivery frameworks
  • Experience presenting or training non-technical audiences
